SUCCESS STORY

Failed twice — including once on a call that simply wasn't justified

July 2023 · Sofia, Los Angeles

Sofia started with no prior driving experience, but she picked up the techniques quickly — about six hours of training. On her first test, she made a critical error, but it was nerves more than lack of skill. That happens, even to experienced drivers.

The second attempt was more frustrating. A newly hired examiner — likely still finding her footing in the role — got visibly anxious about Sofia's distance from parked cars on the right side. She failed her again.

There was no dangerous situation. No contact with any vehicle. The reasoning simply didn't hold up. But the examiner's word is final, and that's the reality of the test.

What matters is what you do next. Sofia didn't let it shake her — she booked a third date, kept her composure, and passed.

Congratulations. That document matters, and you earned it the hard way.
