After three sessions together, Mariana went to her road test on her own. No accompaniment, no hand-holding — just the preparation we'd done and her own confidence behind the wheel.
I happened to be at the same DMV that day with another student. We crossed paths just outside the office and she already had her license in hand. Completely coincidental.
That other student passed too. Two approvals, same place, same day.
Moments like that remind me why I do this. Driving is something they'll both do for the rest of their lives. Knowing they learned it properly — the techniques, the habits, the awareness — makes the work feel like it matters beyond just passing a test.
Congratulations, Mariana.
