From time to time, through this work, I cross paths with someone whose determination genuinely impresses me. Maria is one of them.

Her goal was clear: learn to drive and get her California license. And despite what some might call obstacles — starting later in life, people around her expressing doubt — she never wavered.

Learning something entirely new, knowing you'll be tested on it, is never easy. It takes time, effort, and a willingness to be uncomfortable. Maria put in all of it.
